Church Care Indy is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations
to Church Care are tax deductible. Church Care is not
funded. All staff and board members are full or part-time
volunteers. Volunteers do all the work that you see exhibited
through these web pages - including the construction of
this web site itself and our new e-newsletter. We can
put out the work. We have been doing it now for 14 years,
but we can't also pay the rent, telephone, and other normal
operational expenses without your help. Church Care has
no money. Church Care is a local Christian mission depending
solely upon Christian resources - Christian churches,
individuals and business people for free will donations.
We would ask you to take another walk through these pages
- see what Christian volunteers can accomplish if given
the opportunity. Are the volunteers - Church Care and Indianapolis
church volunteers together - providing a valuable service
to the Indianapolis churches,
to the Indianapolis community, and to the community's
poor, the lonely, the sick, the aged, the widows? (See
who served.) Is Christian
unity well served by the things you see here - all denominations
- their volunteers coming together to show the secular
world that we mean to be what we say we are?
We are here every weekday and often on Saturdays as well
- helping churches help "these, the least of my brethren"
is how Jesus put it. Good things are happening. It's hard
to tell sometimes who experiences the greater joy - those
who are served or those who are serving - and that's the
way it's supposed to be - isn't it? Praise God Yes!
Perhaps your personal situation, as it is just now, doesn't
allow you to volunteer your time and your talent. Then
can you help with a monthly financial donation? - large
or small, we need your help. We promise to keep you informed
on what and how your donations are serving honest people
suffering legitimate and real problems that have no answers
if we Christians do not respond. Our
e-newsletter will keep you current on all the ways
your donations are serving the Lord's call to help the
poor. Please be as generous as possible, that your donations
might make our way and our time here more about helping
our churches help people in need and less about begging
for the next month's rent.
