Do you have a couple of hours in which you could help others?

to register as an individual or small Christian group. You can
get involved with direct "hands-on" compassion and
care for the poor or choose to help in the Church Care office.
Church Care will e-mail, for your consideration, thoroughly screened
need situations, but only those that match those need situations
you have beforehand agreed to consider. Learn

Donate Your Car
Church Care enjoys a relationship with a group of Christian men
who have developed a ministry to "fix up and grant"
donated automobiles to the poor. When Church Care receives a request
from a family in need of a car that runs, we screen them for
truth and send an e-report for consideration. Cars of Clay is
the only auto gift ministry that serves the poor, not the ministry.
If your car can be made safe and reliable for a reasonable investment,
it will be granted to somebody with a dire need for a car without
other means to procure one. Church Care will then provide you with
a narrative profile (without names) of the family that received
your gift. Contact us for more information.
Prayer
Church Care needs your daily prayers if we are to fulfill our purpose.
Please put us on your prayer list. Also, you can read our prayer
page.

When we say "with others", we mean churches and members
of churches - Christians. We are attempting to get the Church
Care web site broadcast to as many Christian Churches and individual
Christians as possible - members of churches in Marion County
and churches in the towns that hug our borders. The web site,
e-mails, e-reports and e-newsletter
are our choice for the best way for the Church community to
get the whole and right story of Church Care Indy. We have to
invite the agencies that participate, i.e., those from whom
we accept need referrals asking church help. We have to maintain
a working balance between the need situations referred and the
church resources required to respond to the need situations
referred. There's one exception and we encourage its use - share
it with Christian Churches and Christian friends in other cities,
towns, counties, etc. And please share it with your own church
if yours is not already participating in the network.
